Samples and Ideas

Image
These days I have tried a few samples from different brands. They either come with the products or they are given to you when you shop at different places. I had this wonderful shopkeeper lady in Ici Paris in Luxembourg, Esch-sur-Alzette, she would give me a lot of samples of different brands. She introduced me to really good products like that. And also she did not give just any product but what fitted my skin, or what I could have desired. So I miss her really, there was a period I went to the shop and I could not see her, so I did not shop from there for a long while. Cause I did not trust the others as much as I trusted her. To cut the long story short... The first one is the BB cream of Missha , it was really good. It smells nice, it is kind on the skin and it is good coverage. It is something that women got crazy about so I also bought the real one. Let's see, I think I will like it. Missha BB cream - 29 USD The photo is taken from the website Another sample I have

The Beauty Tips from "Aver Cura di Sé"

Here in this blog, I have a really major ambition to give you all the natural tips on beauty. After having done major research on Italian, Turkish and English resources, I have come up with some detailed answers, and I will be giving links and references to the resources. This will be a long but sustainable blog, so bear with me! So let us start with Diego Dalla Palma : since this blog focusses on the dry skinners, first of all, I will write his suggestions for who has dry skin (the pages that I have translated from his book are 37, 38 and 39): 1. Clean your skin once or twice a day with a very oily soap; the ones that contain glycerin and that are transparent for instance. It is always preferable to have a soap that is not soap or creamy cleanser... 2. Coconut oil or almond oil is one of the best cleansers for the dry skin. 3. The tonic that is most adapted to the dry skin is the one that is non-alcoholic one. As an alternative, you can prepare camomile tea and use the camom

Palettes 2: Which colours are your favourites?

Image
As I have said in the previous post, where I used Diego Dalla Palma's palette I mostly used these colours: nuda, ballerina, skin tone and all about nude brownish bronze. They are super nice, they stay longer and are also not disturbing the eyes at all. I have sensitive eyes and have seen that this palette was quite good for eyes that might be allergic to cosmetics. Other colours that this palette has like lady nude, too mauve, naked and bare green are going to be amongst my next colours to try. The palette is incredible and it allows different types of makeup so I suggest it to everyone. Diego Dalla Palma eyeshadow palette Here comes MAC Mulch number A98 , this was a suggestion of a Turkish blogger, and I loved this one a lot. The colour is really amazing, you can use it by itself, in autumn, in winter and summer. It goes well with all the other colours, it lasts really long as well. This one seems really expensive for one eyeshadow only but I bought it in a package prepared

Palettes: which colours are your favourites?

Image
Is there a need to have so many palettes? Definitely not. I will introduce you a few palettes as a result of years of experience. Well, I do not use the eye shadow every day but I like to have a good palette and do a light makeup. Many years ago my cousin told me how to do it: to do the seven at the edge of the eye when using the eyeshadows. This information has been quite useful. I suggest these two videos for learning eye makeup:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6SQjrxRG2c  from Cliomakeup and  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3wNnH1NHA8  from Merve Özkaynak. Cutting the long story short, today I will talk about seven brands (Kiko, Clinique, Lancome, Diego Dalla Palma, Mac, Too Faced and Inglot) and six palettes (2 from Kiko, one from Lancome, one from Clinique, one from Diego Dalla Palma and one from Too Faced), four single eyeshadows (Three from Kiko, one from Mac ) and one which you can combine yourself (Inglot). I hope that it will be a useful one for you before you make deci

LIPSTICKS: WHO DOES NOT LOVE TO HAVE A GOOD LIPSTICK?

Image
This boom with cosmetics in the last years is incredible. So many brands, so many colours, so many artificial products and so many novelties! But how will we know which lipstick is the best one? There are three questions when it comes to lipsticks: 1)    Do they suit you (colour wise)? 2)    Will you ever find the perfect colour? 3)    Which are my favourite(s)? So basically, I have three main questions to answer very shortly. But then I will tell you a summary of my experiences about the lipsticks, brands, textures, pigments, colours… will share you a great variety of them from each brand. The colour range is from red to orange, from orange to pink and purple. But there are a few nude colours which are closer to brown as well. Never liked brown as a lipstick but maybe till I find the right colour I should just shut up. Let’s start with the first question. Does every lipstick suit everyone? It is not possible. I will give some suggestion
