Palettes 2: Which colours are your favourites?

As I have said in the previous post, where I used Diego Dalla Palma's palette I mostly used these colours: nuda, ballerina, skin tone and all about nude brownish bronze. They are super nice, they stay longer and are also not disturbing the eyes at all. I have sensitive eyes and have seen that this palette was quite good for eyes that might be allergic to cosmetics. Other colours that this palette has like lady nude, too mauve, naked and bare green are going to be amongst my next colours to try. The palette is incredible and it allows different types of makeup so I suggest it to everyone.

Here comes MAC Mulch number A98, this was a suggestion of a Turkish blogger, and I loved this one a lot. The colour is really amazing, you can use it by itself, in autumn, in winter and summer. It goes well with all the other colours, it lasts really long as well. This one seems really expensive for one eyeshadow only but I bought it in a package prepared by the Turkish blogger, so I thought it was quite economic together with the lipstick and the blush.

Inglot is a famous brand regarding eyeshadows. I have green, orange and shiny blue. I cannot remember their exact names but as you know you can make a combination yourself. They call it the freedom system, which sounds as if the eyeshadow selection is the only freedom that is left to us :). The joke aside, it is good quality, it lasts long, it does not bother the eyes and it is vegan. I like the idea that you can do your own palette, too.

Amongst Kiko's summer favourites there is one that is a golden colour, a single one, number 208. I bought it as I like to use it in the summer. After you open it you can use it up to 18 months. I am not super happy with its pigmentation but the colour when applied a couple of times shows itself. With a light makeup and light lipstick included, it lightens up the face.

Here comes another Kiko eyeshadow I bought years ago and used very little: high pigment green number 85.  This one has better pigmentation and it has a nice colour that is a mat and for everyday use. This one is not expensive at all, with discount now, it is only 1 euro. I just could not find this colour amongst all the others but the packaging looks like this:

I have a couple of more Kikos, that are single but have not tried them yet and would not want to give information before I use them. I definitely think number 40 of high pigment eyeshadow is wonderful, and also number 65. They are close to each other in tones, but the former one is nude without any shiny stuff in it. The latter is a clear purple with some shiny elements inside. Here is the photo of viola grigio perlato (no 65):

Yet I could not find again number 40. But it is more like Marsala Perlato.

One of the palettes I loved the most amongst all that I used, one of the favourites would be Lancôme, the one I had five or six years ago and used almost for three years, and could not finish (that was my only palette at the time and was happy with it) is the Turquoise coloured one. They changed shapes since then. As my first good palette, I really liked it and thought that it went well with all makeup, as I also did not do much makeup, it was okay. But I suggest it to everyone if you want one that is good and that consists of your favourite colours, pick up a good brand and go with it. No need to buy many palettes as I did, for they expire if you use them just by yourself.
Palette hypnôse star

My suggestions end here, to organise the thoughts my ordering of the palettes according to how much I like them (1st the most and the eighth is the least) is as such
  1. Lancome hypnôse palette - colours are exactly as you see, highly pigmented
  2. Diego Dalla Palma palette - highly pigmented, long duration, nice nude colours
  3. Too faced tickled peach palette - highly pigmented, nice colours: orange-brown-red tones
  4. Clinique limited edition greens and purples - highly pigmented, nicest greens ever
  5. Kiko cult palette - very vintage, mat, handy, sufficient for many types of makeup
  6. Inglot self-made palette - choose as you want, highly pigmented, colour is what you see on the palette
  7. MAC single MULCH - very beautiful colour, long duration, highly pigmented
  8. "Green me" little palette of Kiko
  9. Single Kikos - colours are nice, pigmentation changes from single to single eyeshadow, you can use this one if you are missing on one colour or so... they are plenty and it is so hard to finish them and it is good always to buy them in combination with other colours you have.
