All kinds of wonders of skin care: vitamins, sprays and oils

Image
Recently I have been alternating some creams and sprays and wanted to write to you about them. All of them are satisfactory, of course some are more. I will cut it short and dive in to the themes immediately.  Eye Creams  So the first one is the Clinique Pep-Start eye cream . I had already written a review on this cream and I have to say that for daily use I am quite fine with this cream. Its texture is not so oily but it is sufficiently hydrating. I think I might consider re-getting it although maybe for my eyes something tougher is needed. Maybe I use this one in the morning and I can have a stronger eye cream for the night.  The second eye-gel is from Kiko Smart Hydra Shot Eye Gel : this one is lighter but still during the day when I feel that my eyes are getting dry, I sometimes use this gel. It is easy to use since it has a round base just like the pep-start. Both of these are not my favourite creams, well pep-start is closer to being a favourite, but they are efficient during the

Healthy Life and Healthy Skin

I know that I had not written for a long while because I kind of lost the motivation to try more products and present them to you. However, I have continued on the skincare and I can give some tips on the skincare. I believe that I can rightfully give these suggestions since I noticed something about my skin in 40 days spent at home because of quarantine. I have these suggestions: 1) Eat a lot of fruits, vegetables, vegetable soups... to be more specific, eat an apple each day. Try to eat fresh fruits or salad each day. Even if it is spring, try to eat a lot of soups, made with different vegetables and tomatoes... 2) Drink a lot of water, not too much but keep a bottle of water at your desk where you work and as you take little breaks rather than coffee, try to drink water with a piece of lemon inside 3) Try to keep active. I have noticed that when I moved inside the house as I did the cleaning of the house and so on my skin got hydrated itself... the sebum was much more balan

Three Masks and Three Toners

Image
This week I have tried three masks, well actually, Belif was one of those that I tried before. I will start with Belif... Then I will talk about the Repertoire and Re-charge of Clarins. In the second part, I will be talking about three toners: Garnier Rose, Pixi Rose, and Yves Rocher's new toner. MASKS Belif acqua bomb mask was great. You can just apply it to your skin and then take the access. On the website, it says that this mask is good against dryness, dullness, and redness. It is great for dry skin. So I do suggest it, it did not cause any irritation on my skin. Moreover, it smells like lemon, a bit of chemical, too, I admit. However, in general, it does not cause great trouble. In Sephora it says it is 34 USD, to be honest, I have not bought the whole thing, I just had the sample. I will not buy the whole mask but I can still continue to use samples. taken from Sephora's website Belif acqua bomb mask  The second mask I tried was a sample of Repertoire wit

17th of December: Moisture Surge Serum

Image
I was quite happy with this one yes yes yes! On 17th of December, Moisture Surge supercharged concentrate came out of the box of the advent calendar. I tried it twice or three times and each time it has really hydrated my skin. I am very very very happy with it. Suggest it to everyone, I give ten over ten to this product especially if you have dry skin.  Clinique Moisture Surge Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate

5th of December: Clinique Smart Night

Image
I have tried this one, Clinique Smart night , and was happy with it. It hydrates for the whole night and even in the morning, your skin is quite hydrated. Although it is a night cream, tried it also for the morning, I think that it is really good for dry skin. It kept my skin hydrated for the whole day as well. Did not use makeup on it though. You can take just a little bit from the cream and the amount is more than enough for whole your face! It has a dense texture. The only thing I do not like about Clinique products is that they smell like they are from the laboratory... in the sense that they smell too much like cosmetics. Basically, they do not smell like flowers, or natural herbs, or some kind of perfume. It is good, as it means they do not have so much perfume inside, which can have side effects for dry skin, but it is weird when they smell kind of, you know, like too much of a clinical product... Apart from that, all okay! Still, I give this product nine over ten. An

4th of December 2019: This time there is the cleanser, take the day off!

Image
I was very much surprised by how functional and good this cleanser was. So it is Clinique take the day off make up remover...  This cleanser performed much better than I expected. First of all, it has taken all the makeup off. I had to try twice with a cotton pad but still, it was soft on the skin.  Second, it does not dry the skin.  Third, it leaves the skin hydrated and maybe even you do not need to use a toner.  Fourth, it is very gentle on the skin, it does not cause any rash or any kind of side effect.  I am amazed by it. I again give ten over ten to this product. Clinique Take the day off makeup remover passed the test for dry skinners, for sensitive eyes and tedious evaluators of products. Suggest it! ps. after I used this cleanser, I took shower and then my skin was extremely dry, but I do not know what happened in between, maybe the shampoo or the water or the temperature of the water was not good enough, could not be sure. So I will try this product once

Sprays and Mists for Sensitive Skin

Image
Hello Again, Once more I have four suggestions for sprays. They are all different, they have different functions, but they are all good for sensitive and dry skin. The one I like the most is the last one of Clarins "refresh" . It smells like flowers, roses and lavender. I really liked it a lot. It has a function of hydrating a lot, and I mostly use it before I go to bed sometimes even without putting on the night cream. My number one is this! The second one I liked a lot but it has lost its smell after six months was Kiko spray... ( Green me hydrating face mist ). This one is supernatural, it smells like grass, its consistency is almost white and I think it functions in hydrating the skin. The third one I suggest to you is the one I finished already and bought a new package as stock in my cosmetics shop, in our little house. So basically, this one is one of the best known from Avene , the spray with minerals for dry skin... Acqua Termale Avenè Spray ... I know

Belif: A brand that surprised me!

Image
So, okay, I am a consumerist. Otherwise, I would not have done this blog, right? How do you know I am a consumerist? -I am caught by advertisements -I go out to buy something and buy something that I do not need -I always buy things before they finish -I am attracted to all the new things that come out... brands, trends, fashion, etc. Yes, so that is how I discovered Belif . Just bought a small sample where there was hydration cream, eye cream, a mask, and a serum altogether. They were quite small. Hence, I took them with me when I had to travel for one month. Still, remember that it was a bit expensive but wanted to try it. I did not regret it, except for one thing that I will tell you soon. It is good! It is really good, just do not like the smell. It smells to chemical but it works. Well, I want to know more about the ingredients of Belif. So the ones that I used were these: so there is this serum  Hungarian Water Essence  so there is this moisturiser Acqua Bomb t

Maybe in winter we need to be hydrating our skin more?

Image
Now that winter is approaching more hydrating creams might be needed. I will give you a combination of well known and less known brands from different places. This time there will be just a few products but I will explain how they work... First one is the Yves Rocher Anti-pollution UV Beauty shield cream... it is such a nice one that keeps your skin hydrated whole day. I love its texture and smell! Have always loved Yves Rocher The second one is Bottega Verde (avena per i pelli delicate o sensibili) and it has such a soft smell, I use it mostly at night, it has a very natural and light texture, I definitely suggest it. The third one is Caudalie Vinosource Moisture Recovery Cream for dry skin, that works all fine, too! Well, my sister thinks Yves Rocher is much better but I am not so sure yet... I like them both. The fourth one is a B&B cream from Dior: you probably know this one already... I have been using it a lot. It is my third tube now that is abo
