All kinds of wonders of skin care: vitamins, sprays and oils

Recently I have been alternating some creams and sprays and wanted to write to you about them. All of them are satisfactory, of course some are more. I will cut it short and dive in to the themes immediately.

Eye Creams

So the first one is the Clinique Pep-Start eye cream. I had already written a review on this cream and I have to say that for daily use I am quite fine with this cream. Its texture is not so oily but it is sufficiently hydrating. I think I might consider re-getting it although maybe for my eyes something tougher is needed. Maybe I use this one in the morning and I can have a stronger eye cream for the night.

The second eye-gel is from Kiko Smart Hydra Shot Eye Gel: this one is lighter but still during the day when I feel that my eyes are getting dry, I sometimes use this gel. It is easy to use since it has a round base just like the pep-start. Both of these are not my favourite creams, well pep-start is closer to being a favourite, but they are efficient during the day and it is better than using nothing for your eyes. As some experts say, you can only make your wrinkles finer but not make them disappear.

Caudalie Vinosource Grape Water

I continue with a hydrating spray from Caudalie that was a limited edition. It is a hydrating spray and it is different from the Caudalie beauty elixir. It comes in a metal package, it is called vinosource grapewater. Its smell is not as heavy as the Elixir and it is not as sticky as the elixir. I like them both, but for daily use I like this one that seems to be lighter. It almost feels like Avene's hydrating spray, I feel quite satisfied with this one, what's more, it is more economic than the elixir.

Face Oils

Now comes the time for the Vitamin E and Vitamin C that I have been adding into my creams. I really like to use these ones, they are economic, they are good quality, when you mix them with your hydrating cream they have a very good effect on your skin. You just need to make sure that YOU MIX IT WELL with your creams, otherwise, the texture will be too oily or too sticky. This is the best way to make use of these vitamins, that is how I think. However, of course some people prefer to put it directly on their face. I honestly like to mix with the cream and then apply them. So the vitamin E is from Accademia Della Bellezza and vitamin C is from All natural advice. I am happy with both! They have been good hydrators and I also feel that they tighten the pores of your skin.

I want to add another oil that I have almost finished, this oil is made of Roses. It is called Luxybio Extraordinary Face Oil: I also mixed it with my hydrating creams and used it. It is really a very very nice oil and it smells slightly only like roses. It is not heavy at all, as sometimes oil of rose might be thought as a heavy smell. To be honest, I had it for almost two years and I am only finishing it now... A little amount is just enough. Sometimes I did use it mixed with my body cream, too, but that might be a way to waste it as it is for the face first and foremost.
Burts' Bees Handcream

My recent discoveries also include the hand cream of Burt's Bees. This cream has been a lifesaver as during the quarantine, it was not possible to get out of the kitchen sometimes. Cooking, washing, cleaning... Moreover, our cat got sick and so I had to wash his plate often, change his water often, then change his sand often... On top of that, we had the corona virus which forced us to be cleaner, washing hands constantly. So this cream did a great job.

This is all for my skincare: I will write more details on the hydrating creams. As you know my expertise is on the lipsticks and hydrating creams more than anything. I have recently tried new makeup products, too, but not so many. I am trying to finish what I had and this means that I will not be able to buy new things almost for one year on that side. Lipsticks are an exception, so I might write more on that, in another blog.

I think that it would be great to walk and do sports outside again, it gives the natural colour to our cheeks, to see people on the streets gives hope on the economy and liveliness, to be able to see the trees again provides some perspective on how beautiful they are and to see people we love again means that we are getting lucky with the loved ones. So enjoy the time of freedom for those who have now more time to spend outside in the sun and if you read my blog by chance, do not forget to rest your eyes on the green of the trees... after you read it.
