Bobby Brown: The super transparent powder

As promised I tried today Bobby Brown  finishing powder. I will be very brief. 1) It is quite transparent with some light 2) Could not see it well on my face, perfect transparency 3) It did not dry my skin... So I would say in this case I suggest it, a good one, good consistency. Unfortunately Bobby Brown is not cruelty-free... Neither Shiseido... But Bellàpiere is, so it is your choice at the end of the day, but just keep in mind that those brands that sell in China do not have to obey the laws it seems, and it is very common that most of the products sell there. For now, that is it... since our best 24 days with Clinique will start soon. I have also learnt that Clinique is not cruelty-free either, however, now that it is purchased, will try the products and inform you on how they are good or bad or neutral on the dry and sensitive skin. Have a good Sunday!

Why do I write this blog?

Image
I think that I need to make clear a couple of things about this blog. There are a couple of reasons why I am writing this blog. One is for sure interest in cosmetics and natural-looking and good looking self-care. The second major reason why I write a blog is that I have dry skin since I am 19 years old. I started to use a hydrating cream when I was 19, before that no makeup no hydrating cremes, nothing. Maybe some nail polish from time to time. Even about that, I was not so careful. I did not start wearing makeup almost till I was 26 or 27. That makeup was mascara and some blush and some lipstick, that is it. In these years, I discovered so many cosmetics, so being 35 in the last five years, have gathered so much information, bought so many things, and had a chance to compare them. I really want to be honest about these things and also want to share the good suggestions with you, especially for those who have dry skin, my recommendations would be plenty. In the future, I want

Bellàpiere

Image
As promised, today I tried the powder of Bellàpiere after BB cream, used just a bit of it. It has a great texture, it is soft, not heavy, does not dry the skin and it looks really good and natural. So I suggest it as much as I suggest Shiseido. I do not use it as a foundation, but I think that it is great to give some light, cover the imperfect parts and still look nice and natural. So yes I do agree that it is worth the money, and after you open it you can use it for 36 months! I think it can even go longer than that... This photo is a product of Bellapiere that I have not heard before, banana setting powder, it seems to be a good product... I just insert a photo here for you to see how the products look like... mine also looks similar in regard to packaging. Banana setting powder So now remains only three items in the challenge accepted  version. Have a nice weekend! Happy with Shiseido Seven Colour Powder

Image
In line with the blog post Challenge accepted , I tried today Shiseido seven colour powder.  Although there are different ways to use it I used the brightening version , mixing all the colours. So basically I did use it without makeup. I know what you think, you might think it is not the right way, but it was fine. 1) Shiseido seven colour powder does not dry the skin 2) It looks very nice and natural 3) Since I did not have makeup I cannot tell you how it would fit the rest but I think that it can be a day saver even... SUGGEST IT 100 PERCENT! We continue with the challenge tomorrow...

My Favourite Things: Cosmetics You will not Regret Buying

Image
In this blog, I will tell you all the products I love the most, that are economic or expensive, that are from known brands or unknown brands, those that are colourful or nude... but those things that you will never regret having. Let us start! Hmmm. I have been using makeup more heavily since I am thirty. Nevertheless, there are things I am sure of, and there are things that I am still trying and seeing. Here are all those I DEFINITELY LOVE TO HAVE AND DEFINITELY NOT SORRY TO HAVE BOUGHT: 1) Let us start with lipsticks. Which ones are my favourite? Let us start with the red lipstick , Lancôme Isabella inspired by Isabella Rossellini  matte red, nice texture, nice colour, live saver, evening saver, evening beauty everything that lights you up and makes you look like "I know how to use the right red". It is one of the favourite lipsticks I have... LANCOME Rossellini Red Lipstick Second lipstick I love I definitely love is Kiko matte velvet passion pink... I have b

Disappointed with Vichy Mineral Blend Powder

I tried this powder, medium colour , and did it after I had hydrated my skin and put on some BB cream as well. However, did not like it at all. There are a few reasons for it. 1) It made my skin dry and even it made it look drier than usual 2) It did not look natural although it fit the makeup in regard to colouring. Bad news is this: It made my skin so tense that I had to clean whole my makeup immediately. This powder might be good for those who have very oily skin but dry skinners, not for you! Do not buy it and do not waste your money if you have dry skin. It will be a total disaster! We did not start the first day really with great hopes, but we will have other days of hope! Wait and see!

Challenge Accepted: Which face powder gives more power?

So from tomorrow on I will try different face powders and will write to you every day, at the end of the day, what I think about them. The ones I have are as such: 1) Vichy Mineral Blend - Medium  2) Shiseido Poudre Lumiere Seven Colours  3) BelláPiere Mineral Foundation Ivory 4) Bobby Brown Nude Finish Illuminating Powder  5) Kiko Ocean Feel Loose Powder Transparent  6) Couvrance: Avène Poudres Mosaïque s (This I have for a long time and hope it is not gone bad!) So I will try these every day from Wednesday (20th of November 2019) on and will tell you the results! My criteria would be: Do they make the skin dry? Do they keep the skin hydrated?  Do they last long? Do they look natural? Do they fit well with makeup?  What are the best and worst qualities of these brands? I will tell you one by one...  Let the adventure begin. I will start the adventure on Wednesday, 20th of November...  And will try not to stay under the rain!!!!!!!

Dior Skin Nude Air Serum: The Only Foundation I have Used

Image
I will make a short and honest confession to you. I do not believe in foundations and I think that it is not healthy to use them all the time. I do not think that we should cover our faces like we paint the walls or like we paint our lips. Till now, I only used one foundation and bought one foundation and not planning to use others. Cause I find this one quite natural and quite down to earth. Moreover, it does not stick to your skin, it lets your skin breath. I have used two colours of this: the fairer one and one tone darker. Both were fine: the darker for the summer and the lighter for winter I guess. So it is Dior Skin Nude Air Serum . I know it is a bit expensive, it is almost 52 euros. But believe me, it is worth the money if you use it a couple of times a week. Or even if you use it once a week, it goes a long way. Weird thing, I keep it in the fridge, cause I do not use it that often. But when I use it I never regret it. As I said I do not have other experiences, other
