My Favourite Things: Cosmetics You will not Regret Buying

In this blog, I will tell you all the products I love the most, that are economic or expensive, that are from known brands or unknown brands, those that are colourful or nude... but those things that you will never regret having.

Let us start!

Hmmm. I have been using makeup more heavily since I am thirty. Nevertheless, there are things I am sure of, and there are things that I am still trying and seeing. Here are all those I DEFINITELY LOVE TO HAVE AND DEFINITELY NOT SORRY TO HAVE BOUGHT:

1) Let us start with lipsticks. Which ones are my favourite?

Second lipstick I love I definitely love is Kiko matte velvet passion pink... I have been using this almost for seven years meaning I don't even remember how many I had bought till now but shall be five at least. So it is velvet passion matte MAUVE, here it is. It is good for every day, it is good for every evening. It is pink but not too much, a cold pink mixed with blue. Then it is an honest colour, it looks like what it is... it is like what it looks.

Third lipstick I definitely loved and will love forever is BRAVE from MAC. It is good for work, for afternoon, for refreshing and for the evening. It is good for every occasion. Not pretentious. Not obstinate. Modest but still says "I am here". Yes, I definitely like this one, I also like the name as long as we are not brave for stupid things, how would you know before being brave though?

Fourth lipstick I have never regretted buying is orange-ish. Number 7 hypoallergenic, without paraben, SLS and all that jazz that harms us. It is economic, nicely packaged, natural, and not orange orange but a warm colour with undertones of red, still orange, dark orange maybe... hard to describe. Good for everyday use, suggest it and suggest it once again. It is called NUDE ORANGE. Here it is:

And for those who like natural looks, natural lipsticks, between gloss but still lipsticky. I discovered something so nice at Kiko almost two months ago. The number is 508, called Jelly Stylo. It is between pink, viola and purple, but at the same time, it is slightly shiny. It is subtle and good for everyday use... I am sure you will love it if you do not want to make boldest statements on earth but you want to show that there is some colour on your lips that lighten up your face. Wow I am so consistent, it is the jelly and glossy version of Mauve I have.

Here comes an expensive one, still the best matte you can ever imagine... It is a noble colour, do not know why I said that: it is subtle, Bourdeaux, and dark red, and it is still not too brave, but confident. It is a colour that you would wear every day without questioning your dress and makeup. Chanel Èternel number 118. You will never regret that you have this colour in your handbag.

2) Our second could-you-be-loved category is Bronzer, we have only one in here! And that is, what, you guessed it right, Guerlain of course! Are you kidding me? That is the best ever (have not tried other bronzers apart from Kiko, but Kiko was too red for me and it was a very old version, so I am not sure if I will find it even if I seek for it). So here is my favourite bronzer that I would never ever give up unless I am really poor, that might happen, too, with this consumption behaviour!

Here is natural warm Terracotta Light, the one I have is Natural Rose... the one in the link in the dorè... The one in the photo is the rose one... Dore is slightly darker than the rose.

3) This one is a lip oil and lip balm category, I have only two to suggest you here with all my confidence in the products. L'occitane lip balm ultra-rich and Flormar lip gloss oil (sorry, it is called juicy colour lip oil). These are good for your lips, the latter is good also as a gloss since there is a trend on glosses after we ruined our lips with matte dry lipsticks.

4) This one is something I had suggested before, this is the Clarins shea butter face cleanser for dry skin, would never go without it, would stock it and see that I always have it. I am going to suggest it once more, cause it deserves its fame.

5) In this category, we have a blush and only one blush, I am sorry, cause I love how natural and how honest and how modest and how good it looks! MAC blush Melba Matte. It is worth the money. You will not regret this purchase, either, as I underline, if you like to be looking natural, not over made up! I have also reviewed the blushes before so here I do not show a photo but please go to my previous review of blushes. And it is not actually looking like how it is on the screen, it is less pinkish than that. 

6) In this category, I will suggest just one concealer for the eyes. It is Active light no. 2 of Jane Iredale. IT IS THE ONLY CONCEALER THAT DID NOT BOTHER MY EYES, THAT DID NOT FEEL HEAVY, THAT LOOKED NATURALLY LIGHTER, AND THAT IS DEFINITELY LOVELY AS ITS PACKAGE LOOKS. Suggest it. Please check it out. The one that I use is number 2, medium yellow.

7) In this category, we have an eye pencil that was given to me as a present when I bought something from Sephora. My expectations were low. Cause I never use eye pencils, this is the one that changed my mind cause the colour is so wonderful: a shiny and metallic brown, bronze. It looks like a subtly shiny wood ... Collistar eye pencil 103. Here it is, you will like it I promise.

8) This category is about a sunscreen cream, almost like BB, hydrating and protective against the sun, 30 SPF for instance, smells nice, colours nice, lasts long (not on the skin only but also the tube goes for a long time). They call it the tinted cream of Avene. it is most of the time better and more natural in comparison with a BB cream. It is even cheaper probably, so I definitely say you will like it.

9) This category is about hydrating creams, the hardest to choose, but I do choose Avene intense hydrating creme... as one of the best hydration-creams I have ever used. Please see my blog post on that.  It is my first blog ever, you can also see a photo there, but well, I loved it and continue to use it for the last five years. 

What else could I tell you that you would not regret? To take long walks, to see your friends, to kiss your mother more often, to spend quality time with kids, to buy only the things that you need, to live a simple but green life, to be aware of who you are and forgive yourself for the things that you had done in the past. Then also do not forget to feed the cats and the dogs on the street, you will never regret that. To adopt kittens, that you would never regret!

To come back to the main theme for the cosmetics, for instance, with palettes, my best palette was from Lancôme but I did not buy Lancôme palette a second time, so I really want to share you the ones I love the most and I would use forever, not the ones I loved somehow and "I would try others, too... kind of thing." So basically, as you see, these are very honest reviews, I am sure that you will like these suggestions.
