Every time we say goodbye I blush a little …
SUCH A LOVELY ONE THIS BENEFIT MAJORETTE
One of the best blushes I have
ever used was the creamy one from Benefit Majorette, and the colour was perfect
it was somewhere in between red and pink and orange. So it is quite good-looking for
the white and yellow skins. However, its expiry date was quite soon so I had to
get rid of it. I could not, I know, I still save it, cause it is so cute! The packaging and presentation of Benefit Majorette are really incredible.
SHISEIDO KNOWS WHAT IS BEST FOR THE CHEEKS
Weeeeellll, keeping it for a long while and loving it: Shiseidoblush. The one I had was exactly the one in the link. A stewardess told me that this was one of the best blushes and she was right! I admit
although it was expiring in 18 months or so, I used it for almost for three years.
But used it so much less than expected that I could not really finish it,
though halved it. Love it!
LIPS AND CHEEKS ARDEN GIRLS
What are my current
discoveries? I did really good research on the internet about blushes and found
out about the Elizabeth Arden honey cream blush, this is lovely, too. The one I have is cream nectar number 1. Unfortunately, I chose some colour that was a bit dark so I need to use really a
little, but it is really a lovely colour... You can use it after you open it, up to two years, so that is good news. For
the contents, I do not know what that would imply as it seems that there are good preservation-ist ingredients inside. It has a small mirror and it does not take much space in your bag.
YVES ROCHER HAS WONDERFUL BLUSHES
They also suggested Nars powder blush but I did not like it so much. It was called Orgasm. However, somehow, I did not like it despite its nice-looking orange colour ... I gave it to a friend.
MAC BLUSH MELBA IS SUCH A NATURAL!
Then another wonderful
discovery was by a Turkish blogger and YouTuber, she made this work with MAC
and discovered this wonderful blush of MAC melba, it is sooooo natural, so lovely, so
subtle and elegant. You can REALLY see how nice it is. It is matt so even if your skin has pores you can use it…
so I use it almost every day and just love it. It goes with all kinds of colours and
makeup. It is light and not exaggerated.
LANCOME BLUSH IS REALLY GREAT!
Then comes another one, a
recent discovery again, more orange colour, that is Lancôme blush. I love
everything about Lancôme, lipsticks, mascaras, and also blushes, this one is a
bit shiny although is very natural and subtle. Its colour is such a light orange
that you can also use it almost every day. The colour I have is number 3: sorbet de Corail. I assume on a very British rose white
skin it would look really good.
An economic and beautiful blush
that I used almost for 1.5 years was from Yves Rocher, the small one, the colour was similar to Lancôme, you can see the box and colour below but I do
not have it with me so I cannot be sure about the colour, unfortunately … I think it was rose peche. I absolutely loved it! It looks bright in the box but it looks natural on the skin. And in fact, when I am done with all these blushes I have I might
still get another Yves Rocher blush. Smells so nice, too!
DO YOU PREFER A MATT FINISH? ESSENCE, THEN!
Then last but not least, this
blush is quite a nice one… you can see the photo below, it is from Essence and
it is more pinkish (the one I have is berry-me-up). I find it too pink, I think somewhere between orange and
pink is more of my colour. This one though is not bad depending on how you combine
the colours of your makeup. And maybe it would look better on darker skin, but
please don’t listen to me, try and see for yourself which one is the best.
Essence is a good and economic brand and yet quality.
So if we are to make up a grid
of which ones are more orangy, pinky and rosy and cream or not... and so on, please check these suggestions out. I think the most natural one is Yves Rocher one in regard to the ingredients. Also for vegans, Yves Rocher might be a good idea. I try to use things without paraben for sure.
MORE AND MORE BLUSHES
I want to add two more blushes that I tried recently here. The first is Clinique and the second one is from Pastel. I am in love with both of them. One of them is a bit expensive and the other is super economic. They are different in the sense that the first is more significant as a colour on your cheeks, more orange and pink together. The second is more subtle and it has warm orange and brown colour.
CLINIQUE PRECIOUS POSY IS MY FAVOURITE

CLINIQUE PRECIOUS POSY IS MY FAVOURITE
Here is the Clinique blush Precious Posy, a great compromise between orange and pink. It is much less vivid on your skin that it seems on the blush. However, it gives a healthy glow and it gives also some shimmering lights but not too much. I think it is a great color that goes with all makeup.

PASTEL PRO-FASHION CRUSH NUMBER 302: BORN NATURAL WORN NATURAL
Another favorite is from Pastel pro-fashion crush number 302, this is an economic product and it is also super nude and supernatural. I like how the color is very light on the skin, it looks like a very light orange with a subtle pink. Then it can be also used with all kinds of makeup where the eye shadow palette contains green, grey, purple, brown and more... I think that it is a super buy and it would be something to add to your makeup bag if you have too many pinkish colors and you need a blush with nude tones.
Have a great blushy day! Even
if it rains, do not forget to put some colour on your cheeks!
