6th and 7th of December 2019: In anticipation with blush and brush of Clinique

Image
This time I had to try these two products together. The reason for that is that one is a blush and the other is a brush. Yess so I admit that I had to open one of the boxes one day before... not had to, chose to do so; because I was curious. Luckily, it turned out to be compatible products. The blush of clinique is named Precious Posy  and I applied it with the brush that came out of the box of the 7th of December, which is smaller than this one: Powder Brush of Clinique . The brush is elegant, with the transparent handle (I do not know the exact word, forgive my ignorance). I cannot say it is super soft, I can say it is agreeably soft. Learning to be diplomatic for God's sake.  Well, the application of the blush is really easy, the brush was kind of tough on my cheek but I have sensitive skin so I could feel it a bit harsh on it. However, the brush was the right one to apply the powder/blush with; it really works well for diffusing on your cheek. And the blush i

5th of December: Clinique Smart Night

Image
I have tried this one, Clinique Smart night , and was happy with it. It hydrates for the whole night and even in the morning, your skin is quite hydrated. Although it is a night cream, tried it also for the morning, I think that it is really good for dry skin. It kept my skin hydrated for the whole day as well. Did not use makeup on it though. You can take just a little bit from the cream and the amount is more than enough for whole your face! It has a dense texture. The only thing I do not like about Clinique products is that they smell like they are from the laboratory... in the sense that they smell too much like cosmetics. Basically, they do not smell like flowers, or natural herbs, or some kind of perfume. It is good, as it means they do not have so much perfume inside, which can have side effects for dry skin, but it is weird when they smell kind of, you know, like too much of a clinical product... Apart from that, all okay! Still, I give this product nine over ten. An

4th of December 2019: This time there is the cleanser, take the day off!

Image
I was very much surprised by how functional and good this cleanser was. So it is Clinique take the day off make up remover...  This cleanser performed much better than I expected. First of all, it has taken all the makeup off. I had to try twice with a cotton pad but still, it was soft on the skin.  Second, it does not dry the skin.  Third, it leaves the skin hydrated and maybe even you do not need to use a toner.  Fourth, it is very gentle on the skin, it does not cause any rash or any kind of side effect.  I am amazed by it. I again give ten over ten to this product. Clinique Take the day off makeup remover passed the test for dry skinners, for sensitive eyes and tedious evaluators of products. Suggest it! ps. after I used this cleanser, I took shower and then my skin was extremely dry, but I do not know what happened in between, maybe the shampoo or the water or the temperature of the water was not good enough, could not be sure. So I will try this product once

3rd of December: Quick liner Ebony (this one I love a lot!)

Image
Normally I do not use eye pencils but Clinique quick liner ebony is really a good one and it is also easy to apply. On the third day of Clinique, I can easily tell you that this has been my favourite in the last three days. The pencil does not bother the eye, it is soft, it is black and super elegant... For some reason my mom did not like the eye pencils, she thought that there was no need to do that to the eyes, as you have lipstick and mascara and so on... but sometimes it looks like a defining line around the eyes and it can even look like your eyes are deeper, with a frame. Think of a painting with a good (non-exaggerated) frame for instance. The only thing I did not notice was this, it swivels up so once it swivels up, you need to be careful about it... It is written on the pencil: it swivels up not down... since I do not read everything on the pencil I could not know about that... but this one is highly suggested, I give ten over ten! Happy third advent calendar day!

2nd of December 2019: Clinique Pep-start for Eyes (eye cream)

Image
So on the second day of the Clinique advent calendar, I opened the Pep-start eye cream.  It is a small tube but it has plenty. The smell is nice, it looks like a jell will come out of it but it is a creamy cream. I like it! I used it before I go to bed yesterday night, to be sure if it is good or not. It does not create miracles, to be honest. But it hydrates and also kind of stretches your skin, you can feel it when you put on this cream on your eye area... Liked the smell of it, too, light smell. To this product, I give ten over ten. And I am sure that if you have wrinkles around your eyes, you might want to give Pep-start eye cream a try... For now, I cannot say much, tomorrow I will use it again and will inform you more. It is better to give information after repeated usage. Wish you a nice night if you are on the side of Europe, nice morning if you are on the other side of the world! In each case, stay positive, stay cool, stay calm and balanced!

1st of December 2019: Clinique Pep-Start

Image
As promised the first day of the advent calendar, I tried Clinique Pep-start . I also made my husband try it. And then got his opinion on it... In the end, it cleans the skin without any kind of feeling of dryness. But it made my skin a bit red despite the fact that I did not use it in a harsh manner. I think that it is a good product, BUT NOT FOR SENSITIVE SKIN. It is quite natural, it smells natural, not much perfume in it. At the same time, I could not find anything so special about it. So the first product takes five over ten! Sensitive skinners, maybe something else could be better for your skin. ps. after having used this product repeatedly I changed my mind and I give seven and a half over ten to this product. Cause I have noticed that it cleans the skin without drying it and it is really a good start for the day ahead of you. So yes, the first impression was not the last impression this time...
