Three Masks and Three Toners

This week I have tried three masks, well actually, Belif was one of those that I tried before. I will start with Belif... Then I will talk about the Repertoire and Re-charge of Clarins.

In the second part, I will be talking about three toners: Garnier Rose, Pixi Rose, and Yves Rocher's new toner.

MASKS

Belif acqua bomb mask was great. You can just apply it to your skin and then take the access. On the website, it says that this mask is good against dryness, dullness, and redness. It is great for dry skin. So I do suggest it, it did not cause any irritation on my skin. Moreover, it smells like lemon, a bit of chemical, too, I admit. However, in general, it does not cause great trouble. In Sephora it says it is 34 USD, to be honest, I have not bought the whole thing, I just had the sample. I will not buy the whole mask but I can still continue to use samples.

The second mask I tried was a sample of Repertoire with aloe vera. It says that it is 3.10 USD, I think it was cheaper, I got it from Madam Coco interestingly when I was buying something for our house. Basically, it is really a soothing mask, it also has hydrating qualities and it smells like aloe vera naturally. However, one thing about this mask, it does not stay on your skin so easily, so you need to correct it or you need to lie down. I hate to do one thing at a time as I am an inefficient multi-tasker, so it was a bit difficult. You can keep it longer than 10 mins. I did eight. I like the result, but immediately I put on some hydrating cream, so not a very good experimenter I guess. It is not as good as Belif but it is easy going and it is kind to your skin.

The third mask was from Clarins (Re-charge). This one I bought, as it was discounted for women's day. I know it is very controversial to do this kind of shopping on women's day, but the quarantine had already started and I thought why not buy something that we can use indoors? I know what you think, I could have also bought a book or done something else... Yes, let us stop the thought process now and focus on the product's evaluation. So this mask smells heavenly, it is white and a very soft nice texture. It is not sticky and refreshing. You feel that your skin has eaten tons of cucumber when you use this product for the first time. Basically, the routine would be you first clean your skin, then use the re-fresh spray, then use the hydrating cream and finally, the mask. I am very happy with this product, too. Normally other products of Clarins smell too chemical for my taste, but these series of re-fresh, re-hydrate and re-energise are really wonderful! I suggest it! I wish they could also send me the cleansing cream so that I can also use that one to evaluate it!

Here you can see how to do the skin-care: first clean, then spray then hydrate and finally use the overnight mask.

TONERS

As you all know, toners made a comeback. There are so many kinds, those who have read my blog on rose water know that I prefer rose toners. I have three toners to tell you about: Garnier, Pixi and Yves Rocher.

Garnier Rose was already evaluated, it is good but it is not super hydrating. Please go to this page to see my evaluation of rose toners. I was happy with it but I prefer Pixi rose tonic and tell you why: it smells nicer, it hydrates more, it never burns the skin, and it is good for the most sensitive skin types. So it guarantees that it does not harm your skin. I suggest this tonic 300 hundred percent. The one you see in the photo is the bigger size, I have the smaller size as I just wanted to try it first. The big size it says is 23.50 euros. Not horribly expensive but imagine if you use it every day it will finish quickly, hence will be more costly for your monthly budget.

Then when I bought some presents for my sister and our neighbour from Yves Rocher, they gave me one present: Yves Rocher anti-ageing activating lotion. As I said I have not bought it but it says it costs 11 euros on e-bay (I would still do a search). This toner smells nice and it hydrates well. I was very happy with this experience. It says it contains Botanical bud nectar. It has a very light smell. Okay, to be honest, I still prefer Pixi but I use these two alternately.

I have more toners but I want to finish these before introducing others. Then I will also do a very extensive blog on skincare, skincare rituals, suggestions, how people do skincare, how I do skincare, which is right which is wrong for dry and sensitive skin.

Have a good and colorful day!
Be healthy and the rest will come!
