Hydrating when hibernating

We all spent a tough winter. Well, almost two tough winters... We were at home hygenising everything and also trying to keep clean ourselves etc. I noticed that I was washing my hair too often for instance and I had to stop after a while. Here, I will suggest great products that you would not regret buying especially if you have sensitive and dry skin.   These products are very easy to find at least on amazon. During the first lockdown, the most economic and the biggest size of the shower gels were best for me. I have hereby three suggestions.  First is Bioderma . Second is Bodyshop olive oil shower gel. The third is Isdin showergel .   They all smell very nice. They never dry the skin... if you ask about the economic side, the Bioderma one is a big size and it takes a longer time to finish it. The price is good as well. Bodyshop one, I generally buy the big one from amazon Italy. The price is higher but not too bad.  I think Isdin is the most expensive per gram. The reason is that Isd

Bye bye 2020: The products I liked and used the most

Image
Dear Blog readers,  Since this is more like a hobby, and not work, I have been writing less.  This year was a difficult year for all of us. Especially single mothers with children, mothers working from home with children, single men, people who could not socialise, elderly... I think that we have stayed home more and used more domestic products in cleaning. We consumed more plastic in the forms of masks. Then of course skincare also continued to manifest itself despite our depression and despite the fact that with the masks, lipsticks became meaningless. We used maybe more lipbalm, hand creams, shampoos and hydrators more than others.  I have also tried to keep up the spirits and I want to write now a honest review about the products I liked the most, not because of their smell, packaging of appearance but because they were really useful, more natural, did not harm my skin, helped me feel better with my self-care routine.   I realy want it to be a long blog, so be ready to read... all

Clarins: All the best

Image
I will suggest you a couple of products for dry skin, all from Clarins. It is one of these brands that I like the most. I also have to admit that some of the products were disappointing, mostly because of the smell, the heaviness of the perfumes in them, mostly. I get irritated when a smell is too strong and I cannot resist but see the bad sides of the product afterwards. Here, I will talk to you about: 1) Clarins Shea butter cleanser for dry and sensitive skin  2) Clarins Roll-on of Clarins for women (it can also be unisex) 3) Clarins Joli rouge  4) Clarins Intense lip oil (a new product)  5) Clarins beauty flash balm  6) Clarins foot cream  7) Clarins facial mist  8) Clarins satin eye shadow Let's get started...  First of all, the most used and loved product for me has been Shea Butter Cleanser of Clarins for sensitive and dry skin. It is a great product. I have used it for many many years. Now even my husband uses it to cleanse his skin. It never harms the skin and it soothes i

How can I get bronze without getting really bronze?

Image
There are so many bronzers but which one is the best one. Do you have to buy all the bronzers to understand that? I hope not. It is really damaging to the budget. Hereby, I will give some examples from good bronzers and they will be in different budget ranges... from economic to non economic well it seems mostly are kind of non economic to be honest. But I will also give you examples of different magazines and their revisions of diverse bronzers so that you can make up your mind. It will be a complete file on bronzers with all the research involved and with all the products considered (not all tried but taken into account). In this blogpost, I will be writing on four to five products that I tried. The rest will be some of the suggestions and future trials, hopefully. THE CLASSIC: GUERLAIN TERRA COTTA The first bronzer I used and I had almost finished two till now is the one of Guerlain, you probably know it as it is superfamous. In fact, it is one of the best-sellers. It is glamarous a

My New Purchases from Kiko: Less is More and Vegan is Much More

Image
So I could not stop myself but bought three things from Kiko. In total it costed 27 euros. But it was worth every penny.  VEGAN LIPSTICK  This lipstick had the colour that I used to use from Kiko many years go. Even I was complaining that this colour was gone, in fact they had the vegan version. The texture and colour is wonderful. It is like a nude healthy colour: pinkish but also there is a bit of light very light salmon pink in it... It is vegan lipstick number 02, it is called "empathy".   Oh it is lovely!  BRUSH FOR THE BRONZER  This is a wonderful product that I also wanted to buy last year but could not find the chance. It was all finished, this year they did it again! Like Britney Spears! So I have got it and happy with it because I do really like bronzers and use unexpected paradise mini powder brush a lot. And it comes with this green bright case, it is like a turquoise colour. THE NAIL POLISH  This nail polish goes really well with the salmon pinkish natural lipst

Colour on My Nails

Image
Here I will give you some suggestions on wonderful colours from different brands and also for diverse budgets. I will try to provide one example for each colour... Let us start with Green  Green (vert agave) is one of the best colours that Yves Rocher has. It is a very particular green, the type that you find in the forest, the type that is a bit pastel but still lively.  I have almost finished this one, I used it too much!  A nice Nudish Brown  I have to say that this one is also from Yves Rocher . I had used this colour a lot, too. I personally like it a lot. It is not as competitive as the Vert Agave but still quite good as a colour. It is a capuccino brown, something more like muddy but light brown. Hard to describe. It is definitely lighter than the photo you see below.  The third one is a pinkish purple one again from Yves Rocher . It is called Rose Hortensia (see it above). This colour really goes well with the lipstick Mauve from Kiko for instance. It is not a very interesting

Toning Up: Toners for the Dry Skin

Image
What is a toner? Toners is something that you use after you cleanse your skin, to get rid of the dirt that has remained after the day is over. It also helps remove makeup after you cleanse your skin. I used to use toners as my mom had one, we could find all the dirt and pollution on the piece of cotton going through that procedure. It was quite true that the toner was a useful piece of skincare. However, it should fit your skin: do you  have oily/dry/mixed type of skin? It matters a lot. If you have sensitive skin, you should use a very very very natural toner. Even cucumber juice would be fine. Something with less alcohol for sure would be the best for sensitive skin. The more natural ingredients there are, the better it is...  A benefit of the toner is that it minimises your skin pores, so that is great news. It cleanses, that is good news, too. It kind of prepares your skin for the moisturiser, so it is a part of the beauty and skincare routine.  Rose Water of Missha: Meditanical R
