How can I get bronze without getting really bronze?

There are so many bronzers but which one is the best one. Do you have to buy all the bronzers to understand that? I hope not. It is really damaging to the budget. Hereby, I will give some examples from good bronzers and they will be in different budget ranges... from economic to non economic well it seems mostly are kind of non economic to be honest. But I will also give you examples of different magazines and their revisions of diverse bronzers so that you can make up your mind. It will be a complete file on bronzers with all the research involved and with all the products considered (not all tried but taken into account).

In this blogpost, I will be writing on four to five products that I tried.

The rest will be some of the suggestions and future trials, hopefully.

THE CLASSIC: GUERLAIN TERRA COTTA

The first bronzer I used and I had almost finished two till now is the one of Guerlain, you probably know it as it is superfamous. In fact, it is one of the best-sellers. It is glamarous and it smells really wonderful. I have always used the second lightest colour of Guerlain Terracotta Light (which is 02 the sunkissed healthy grow powder light and long-lasting): you can use to make contour or you can also apply it to all of your face. I know that some like to show the face thinner using bronzers and some prefer to use it more realistically on the parts of the face where the sun hits the first such as the nose and the cheekbones. I like to use it both ways. I think that it also depends on the choice: do you want to do your makeup more natural or do you want to make your face look thinner?

I am aware that the price is high: 49 Euros. However, I have been checking a lot of bronzers recently and I have seen that bronzers are not very cheap in general. Maybe it is not surprising as they are kind of luxurious products.

What I like about Guerlain is the colour that looks natural (it is not orange), you can build up on the colour (if you apply it more), the smell is really nice (light perfume), it does not dry my skin (that is soooo important for me) and it looks really wonderful (of course it is about packaging). I like this product a lot. The shiny part at the top goes away after a while, to be honest, I do not care so much about that. For the rest, happy with it. My number 1 till now.

THE LITE: HOOLA LITE FROM BENEFIT

The second product that I had bought after a long long long research was Benefit Hoola Light. I have once bought a product from benefit, which was a lipstick and it was a nice colour but it broke immediately. So I thought that the products from Benefit are overestimated. Aslo they are not cheap at all for god's sake! But this bronzer Hoola lite (it is written lite, I am sorry) is actually something that I bought after so much research and reviews (so here are the links to youtube videos that I thought were quite nice and objective). But I also read about the best bronzers of 2020.

THE CREAMY ONE: CHANEL HEALTHY GLOW BRONZING CREAM

The third one is a wonderful bronzer, in the form of a cream: it is of course Chanel. The price is 50 Euros.
It is universal, so only one colour. It smells very fresh like leaves of a tree. It is super soft, creamy and it allows your skin to look healthy and glowing. So it is called Chanel Heatlhy glow bronzing cream.

It is impossible not to be happy with this product. If you also have dry skin you probably need cream products more than the powder ones (neither Guerlain nor Hoola create any dry skin conditions) and so this is a wonderful bronzer and if you have this one you do not need more bronzers. Last but not least, I have to say that Bobbi Brown suggests also cream bronzers for a quick fix and quick beauty advice and I agree with her: This kind of quick fixes can be used also to give some colour to the cheeks like a blush and then it makes you look less tired for sure.

THE GREEN ONE: KIKO GREEN ME BRONZER N. 101

The fourth product is Kiko Green me bronzer number 101 (as I have fair skin, I do not want to use products that are really much darker for me unless I am totally bronze). This product was not my best one. I apply and apply and apply but I could not notice a difference and it was too matt for me. So although I have to say that in the end it looks natural, for me it was not a perfect bronzer. It is the colour of honey and so you can build up the colour but as a texture I could not be so sure about it.

THE WHOLE PACKAGE: ARTDECO BRONZER, BLUSH AND HIGHLIGHTER

The fifth product is a combination of highlighter, bronzer and blush. It is from the brand called Artdeco and it is most wanted to go countouring palette. I used this palette not really much but actually it fitted me perfectly. To write this blog I applied the bronzer by itself and it is so pigmented and it is really nice on the skin, not only it feels nice it looks nice. I also suggest this product to those who want to have three of these things together: bronzer, blush and highlighter. This is a good package if you want to take with you all the things you need when you need to travel. I am happy with this purchase although now I cannot remember exactly how much it costed.

HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT FITS YOU BEST?

These are the ones I tried so far, however, I want to continue this blog with some criteria and suggestions from other bloggers, journals, magazines and youtubers. Cause I love bronzers and I am sure that you will want to learn more about this theme to make a decision on the right bronzer for you. My first and last suggestion would be to find the colour that looks natural on your skin, not too yellow, not too brown, not too orange, so if you get bronzer a little bit, what colour would your skin look like? That is the most important question to answer. The same thing holds for the blush: if you had blushed after running or so what kind of colour would your cheeks be? The answer to this question will help you find the right blush for you.

So far that's it... more on this blogpost is coming soon...
