Five Products for Dry Skin and Dry Lips

I have used a lot during the days we were closed at home, more than makeup products, the skincare products.  Here, I will write to you about five products that I found really nice during this time, useful, hydrating, and with a quite natural texture.

A Good Hydrating Cream

The first one is a hydrating cream that I started using recently, named the Origins ultra-hydrating energy-boosting cream. This cream was bought by me maybe one year ago and I started using it now. It was there waiting in my drawer. I was relieved when I read that most of the Origins products are vegetarian and vegan. This cream smells like oranges, it has caffeine and ginseng inside.  It hydrates the skin really well, it refreshes, too. It was 25 euros when I bought it I remember, so it is not super expensive for a medium budget. I like this cream a lot and suggest it, dry skinners, with only one condition: you might need to reuse it during the day. I am going through a period of the month where my skin is more dry than usual, hence, I noticed that using once or twice (day and night) did not help, but I used it three times. It is important that your skin is clean though, as well as your hands, as you apply this cream. During the days of coronavirus for sure, we are washing our hands so many times, it shall not be a major problem.

Meditanical Rose toner
Missha Toner, Good One

My second suggestion is a really good toner, which is Missha Rose tonic. I started using it ten days ago. I have noticed that it does not dry the skin and prepared the sebum to be balanced the whole day. I really liked it! I have more rose toners to introduce to you, so be prepared, I will, in fact, make a special blog post only on the toners, just need to try them one by one and make sure that my judgment is right. The website is also quite honest about what they are saying about this product, so I appreciate this honesty, too. Really happy about the Meditanical Rose toner of Missha.

What about the lips?

The third and fourth are hydrating creams for the lips. I always eat my lips and even if they look quite good normally, I ruin them. When I use the balm, I bite my lips much less. So basically I have been using these two lip balms very often, as I am about to finish Liz Arden 8 hour lip balm and aloe vera lip balm from Equilibra (they are literally almost finished). One is Bepanthol lip cream and the other is the DHC! DHC was suggested to me by a super nice lady working at ICI PARIS in Esch-Sur-Alzette, she gave this suggestion to use this brand for the first time and I am really thankful to her. Cause it is a part of made-in-Japan beauty but also really good products for dry skin are present in their repertoire. If you do have dry lips like me, you will definitely AND definitely like both of these products, moreover, they are not super costly. So they are quite deserving of the fame and the name parallel to the price you pay.

THE Hydrating Spray for the Face

The fifth product is something that is slightly more costly than others, I still have the price tag here, 13.10 Euros, bought from the pharmacy. It is Caudalie Eau de Beauté illuminating face spray. This spray is loved by almost anyone who uses it. Just be careful, it has a strong smell at first. It does smell like grapes I have to admit and also a bit like white wine! Sometimes I  use it during the day when I am working, and need to refresh my face with a bit of hydrating mist... it is really refreshing and hydrating, that is for sure. The perfume is said to be 100 percent natural, and if so, this is amazing that it is so strong. I suggest it to dry skinners and to anyone who is obsessed with beauty.
We are opening our doors slowly with the closure coming to an end, in Italy and also in some other places, like Greece, for instance. However, we will continue to be careful and stay at home during the rush hours I guess. I hope that this spring with May will bring us new hopes, new lives, new natural gifts... I hope that we will manage to live with nature and adore nature like the native people did. For sure, they did not use as many cosmetics as we do... for sure, they respected nature more. I hope that after this virus we learn to live with nature and for nature, rather than benefit from it only. It might seem controversial to say this, however, we need to have a holistic approach to things... to how life is organized, how everything is sold in plastic and how residues of what we eat and buy pile up as unrecyclable things...

I also hope that people show solidarity against unemployment and all other evils that might come out of these lockdowns. Cause this will be a great problem for the immediate future...

Wish you hydrated days, stay calm, and carry on thoughts that calm and soothe your mind. Take good care of your body and mind!
