Oh that mascara adventure!
I used many mascaras till this day but there are ones that I want to introduce to you, that I really like and still use up to this day... For some reason, I could not put any photos of the mascaras here in my blog, but I will post the photos later on; so you will need to read a lot of words and description, I apologise for that.
The first one is a colourful one, it is purple. It is Yves Saint Laurent purple mascara that I have used for long years... this one was my favourite for many years and used it even on a daily basis. With green eyes, the purple goes really well. And it is quite a wet mascara but after a while, it becomes really normal as consistency and then the wetness does not bother you anymore. I quit it after a while cause I wanted to use natural products. Still, it is good to try this one if you like the colour purple.
The second mascara I really liked was a vegan one, black, normal, daily use... and if you have sensitive eyes it is really a perfect one. It never made my eyes itch. It was purobio mascara. So this one that I bought from Amazon.it was by chance turned out to be a real bargain. It is economic and it is good for sensitive eyes.
They always brag about The Colossal Go extreme of Maybelline. That is fine, that looks okay, it makes the eyelashes longer and it makes them look thick but I never thought that it is for sensitive eyes. Towards the evening it starts to itch, still, it is one of the best ones in terms of its looks.
Just there are two more I could prefer and they are Lancôme Hypnose (black) mascara and brown mascara of Kiko with the plastic brush, from Green me series.
So why do I prefer Green me brown mascara and Lancôme mascara rather than other mascaras? Let's start with the brush mascara of Lancome. First of all, it really makes the eyelashes longer, it makes them thick and black and it does not cause irritation or itches in my eyes, I definitely like the brush of it, that is simple but all effective.
When it comes to Green me products, they are also quite natural in contents, maybe even more than Lancôme. So what does this product do? First of all, I underline here that when I use orange tones or brown tones in the makeup I also use the brown mascara of Green me that fits the autumn colours. It is less bold than the black mascara, true, but it is more modest and it is still brownish niceish.
YES I LIKE LANCÔME HYPNOSE AND GREEN ME BROWN MASCARA!
Well, there is another mascara I want to try which is from Deborah mascara formula pura. However, I do not want to start using it before I am done with the others. I bought the blue one from Deborah (0 paraben, 0 silicones, 0 perfume). I do really want to continue with more natural products, although I know that Lancome is really good, too. Guess one has to make a choice between more natural and less natural products and if the more natural is better why not choose them? It is our eyes for god's sake!
You know that mascaras shall be finished in six months and if not they start to smell weird and the chemicals do not last that long. Kiko and some other brands have mascaras that are good up to three months only, meaning that you need to follow really well the expiry date of these products. Especially for mascaras, this is extremely important, so do not buy so many mascaras if you do not use them often, cause it might be bad for the budget. I did it, do not do it!
